ATTENTION Pie makers!!! We realized we had completely missed a "pie" category in our Baking section. We are adding the following class effective immediately!
Section 35-Food Class 135 (Note this is NOT listed in the official Prizelist, but you will see it on the menu when you enter Online)
WEST NIAGARA AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL
Bake a pie with your favorite filling.
Prizes: 1st $100 2nd $50 3rd$25
Crust must be made from scratch.
Filling must be named with ingredients used included. NO commercial pie fillings allowed!
8” or 9” will be accepted, a full pie, in a disposable dish please.
One slice will be removed for judging, and one slice will be put on display during the Fair.
The remaining pie will be sliced up and pieces will be sold for a small fee to our Fair attendees on Saturday.
Pies will be judged for:
1. Overall taste
2. Overall presentation

FINAL DAY FOR ENTERING IS TUE SEP 6.
Once you have received confirmation, you will need a 'tag' for each entry. Our staff will print them for you, but you must pick up the tags at the Fair Office during business hours before Wed Sep 7.
If you do not feel comfortable entering Online, please stop in the office and we will help you out!
All completed entries (with tags) are to be delivered to the Community Hall at the Fairgrounds on Wed Sep 7 between Noon and 7pm. NO EXCEPTIONS as judging takes place the next day.
Fair office hours for tag pickup: (the office is located in the Community Hall, 1st building as you enter from Mud Street)
Sep 5: 9am to 3pm
Sep 6: 9am to 7pm
