Agricultural society settling into new fairgrounds

More events scheduled for 2016 season

SMITHVILLE — Everything is falling into place as the West Niagara Agricultural Society prepares for the second season at its new home.

While the facility was finished up just in time for last year’s fair, the agricultural society has worked out a few glitches and is confident this year’s fair — and a few other big events — will go smoothly this year.

“It’s something to be excited about,” said Albert Witteveen, WNAS general manager. “We have out first fair here under our belt and we are excited about the further planning and developing the fair on this site for a better experience.”
