Meet Kim Wiebe, our 2014 /15 our West Niagara Fair Ambassador
Kim Wiebe was home schooled throughout elementary and high school, and is currently in her first year of Practical Nursing at Niagara College.
She is a dedicated 4-H member and has been involved in showing dairy heifers for six years. She has also served as President for her club of over 30 members for the last three consecutive years, and has attended the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair to show her project calf. This year she was awarded both Reserve Champion Showperson and Reserve Champion for her calf within her club, as well as the North Niagara Spirit of 4-H Dairy Award from Ontario Holsteins.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys showing and breeding and selling eggs from her 100 chickens on her hobby farm near Smithville. She also loves art, especially drawing and acrylics.
She is thrilled to be chosen as the 2014-15 West Niagara Fair Ambassador, and is proud to hold that role. She has enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the livestock shows other than dairy, and looks forward to attending the Annual General Meeting, Convention, and the CNE in the coming year.
